Membership Billing, Cancellation & Refund Policy
This policy applies to the current Academic Commission of Academicians (ACA) monthly academic membership offered through aca.edu.ge.
Current membership fee
The current membership price is USD 94 per month. The checkout page shows the amount and recurring nature of the subscription before payment. Stripe processes card payments; ACA does not ask members to send full card numbers or security codes by email or support message.
Recurring billing
Membership is billed on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled. Members should use an email address they control and use the same email for their ACA account and Stripe checkout so payment status can be matched to the correct portal account.
Cancellation
A member may request cancellation of future recurring billing through the ACA Contact & Consultation form. Cancellation stops future renewal once processed. Access already paid for may remain available through the applicable paid membership period unless account access must be restricted for fraud, misuse, chargeback, security or legal reasons.
Refund requests
Refund requests are reviewed case by case. A duplicate or demonstrably erroneous charge should be reported promptly. Where portal access, consultation, document review, member support or other membership work has already been provided for the relevant billing period, a full refund is not automatic. Any mandatory consumer rights that apply in the member’s jurisdiction remain unaffected.
What the membership fee does not purchase
Payment disputes and account matching
If a payment appears successful but portal access is not active, contact ACA using the same email address used at checkout and provide the Stripe payment reference only. Do not send full card data. ACA may need to verify payment status before adjusting account access.
Changes to future pricing
ACA may change pricing or membership features for future billing periods. Material changes should be disclosed before they apply to a future renewal. A completed past payment is not retroactively changed.
